HTC has confirmed the hole in the safety of its smartphones, and promises to update

HTC kept its word to test the vulnerability of its latest smart phone, which recently became known to all. This hole allows any application to access a range of personal data, including account numbers dialed, SMS, coordinates GPS, the protocols of the system and so on.

Although the Taiwanese manufacturer assures that the user's data is not in danger from its own software, third-party malicious software can easily use the vulnerability to their advantage. Company is not yet known, no similar case, but HTC is already actively working on a special patch to fix a potentially dangerous hole.

Correction will be made available to the regular updates in a short period of time required for testing with operators. The company advises all users of its products to download and install the update. What to do until then? HTC recommends staying away from the application of those companies that you do not trust and to listen carefully to install a suspicious software.
