Sony will be the sole owner of Sony Ericsson!

Resource Wall Street Journal referring to informed sources, reported on the intense negotiations that have already conducted a few weeks of Sony Corp and Telefon AB LM Ericsson. The subject of discussion is the future of the joint venture Sony Ericsson, which the parties speak on an equal footing. Ten years have passed since its inception in 2001, and now the Japanese company decided that it would be appropriate to combine the production of tablets, computers, game consoles and smartphones in a single unit.

Sources claim that the sides were close to signing an agreement to buy out Sony's share of joint venture, owned by Ericsson. As expected, the subject of heated debate is the price of the second half of the authorized capital of the joint venture is not only the cost of buildings and structures, but the value of a patent portfolio.

Experts estimate that 50% of the value of the company Sony Ericsson can be from 1 to 1.25 billion.
